SharePoint 2013 - Hide page title

Sometimes a page does not need the title that SharePoint renders at the top. You can hide it with a short script in the master page.

Edit the master page and place this inside the head tag:

	function hidePageTitle() {
		var elem = document.getElementById('pageTitle');
		elem.style.display = 'none';
	}

	_spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames.push("hidePageTitle");
</script>

_spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames makes SharePoint run the function once the page body has loaded, so the title element exists by then.
